my superficial life goals

In the latest episode of How I Met Your Mother, they showed the 15 year old Marshall writing his life goals that he must achieve by he's 30.

Having turned 20 two days ago, here's the list of things I have to achieve by the age of 40.

1. Master's Degree

2. Be a CEO or Director in some big ass engineering firm. Sit behind a big ass table and get a big ass salary each month.

3. Own a BMW 6-Series. Preferably in black or dark grey. BMW - Big Man's Wife.

4. Live in landed property. A terrace or semi-detached house in a beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood; like the one in Desperate Housewives.

5. Married to an extremely pretty caucasian girl whose looks could kill <3

I came home from school to see Hakim & Ashok at the dining table. The simplest yet most epic surprise with two of my most favourite things in the world. I didn't expect it at all. A big thank you to those who came by. Appreciate.

And although I've quit eating McSpicy, I ate it. One for the team.

This controller to me is what a wand is to Harry Potter. My elder wand.

As you can see, the house is quite messy without the parents around. The only thing I keep neat is my bed. I make my bed each morning without fail. Just like how can you leave the house without brushing your teeth?

All in all, I had a great time. Thanks a bunch.

It's 4am and I'm still studying.

Was reading Afique's blog. This was written in his latest blog entry.

I think success comes to those who never give up and just push it forward even if your heart's beating damn fast like it's gonna drop any moment

At this hour, filled with frustration and stress, reading that just gave me the extra gas to go the extra mile. In terms of confidence level, this has got to be the worst ever for my mid-semester tests.

Extremely disappointed.

That's all i have to say about not getting the free standing tickets for The Killers. I have not felt this disappointed in a really long time. Twice, my attempt to get a ticket was thwarted. Fucking bad luck, as usual.

I guess this is the world that we live in (pun intended).

Education I

O levels commenced today.

It is definitely hard to believe that it was actually three years for me. Though I'm glad it's over, I miss doing the ten-year-series. Simply put, studying in secondary school is definitely more fun than studying in poly.

I kept some of the question papers from the O level and looked through them earlier today. I smiled to myself when I saw my workings scribbled untidily in the question paper of the Maths Paper 2. I was probably stressed out while doing it. I have no idea what made me keep the question paper three years ago.

I will never forget those long hours studying for the O levels and would still be proud of myself even if I got F9 for every subject.

This year is Arshaq's turn. I wish him the all best and hope he does well. I would be happier for him if he does better than me. After all, I hold the lowest PSLE score among my siblings.
